Harald Guggenbichler is an Austrian designer who is known for his functional and minimalist designs. Although he specialises in furniture, he also designs lights and other everyday objects. Through his years of experience as a designer, and his particular taste for materials, functionality and aesthetics, he has developed a more poetic and philosophical view of design: going back to basics with a hint of the poetic and plenty of joie de vivre. Working both in furniture and design of everyday objects, he offers aesthetic, functional and poetic creations. In 2004 he founded his design studio with his wife, the “Guggenbichler Design”. Their creations are exhibited in exhibitions and galleries and published in the international press.
