Monica Armani is an Italian architect and interior designer. She is the founder of the design studio “Monica Armani Design.” Armani is known for her minimalist and functional designs that focus on materials and textures. Her early start as an architect taught Monica a distinctly disciplined approach to her brand of design; one that continues to influence every project from permanent and temporary structures to office to interiors to lighting, seating and outdoor. Perhaps most importantly, Monica’s own particular design DNA is deeply rooted in family. In the begining was her father’s architectural influence, which to this day can be seen throughout their hometown of Trento, Italy. But what brought Monica’s vision to life, and what continues to make her designs possible, is husband Luca. Their first and now iconic Progetto1 table remains a testament to the magic and logic of their partnership. And it is partnership that has inspired the creativity and innovation of Monica Armani design. Head, hands and heart; a powerfull combination.
