Nieves Contreras is a Spanish designer who creates contemporary furniture pieces and lighting fixtures. She combines traditional techniques with modern elements to create unique and functional designs. Valencian designer living in Paris since 2002. She studied industrial design in the Polytechnic University of Valencia, as well as a Master’s degree in design management and development of new products. As an independent designer, she leads the artistic management of Sagenceramics, in Valencia, and develops design projects in a wide range of areas: furniture, lighting, consultancy, artistic management and graphic design.
