Prospero Rasulo is an Italian industrial designer known for his innovative use of materials and his ability to blend traditional design elements with contemporary design trends. Rasulo was born in Stigliano di Matera in 1953. He attended the Art Academy of Brera in Milan. Artist and designer, in 1980 he began designing stage sets, creating paintings and sculptures, and designing public and private spaces. His research on the sensory component of the surfaces has led him to experiment different combinations of materials in a creative way. In 1987 he founded the “Oxido” studio, a gallery of project, art, design, architecture that also became the brand of collections of furniture and interior design items.
