Wellness & Wholeness Hotel Materra, located in the heart of Slavonia, is a contemporary example of a thoughtfully crafted spatial narrative that connects modern design with the local context. The hotel’s interior is inspired by the meaning of its name, Materra – Mother Earth. Architecturally defined forms are complemented by soft lounge elements and infused with earthy tones, highlighted by terracotta accents and natural greenery. The pleasure of staying at Hotel Materra is rooted in harmony with the surroundings, comfort, and carefully selected natural materials characteristic of the Slavonian region. The conceptual design was developed by the design team Oliver Grigić and Branimir Kljaić, while the project was further elaborated in collaboration with SIRRAH, the Žito Group, and numerous experts who contributed their vision to this unique space. Our team furnished the hotel with lounge furniture that reflects this philosophy—subtle yet distinctive, functional, and grounded in a strong sense of space.
