Despite its importance, the market and fish market space in Biograd had long been neglected and relatively unknown to the city’s visitors, concealed behind the fish market building and lacking meaningful visual contact with the street. The design proposal aimed to integrate the market into the urban fabric, which led to the removal of the existing fish market structure. In this way, the market reconnects with the city and invites visitors to interact with and explore its offerings. We equipped the market with mobile furnishings that allow for easy reconfiguration and quick adaptation to various sales and exhibition needs. This flexibility enables the market to evolve into a dynamic space capable of hosting a wide range of events, creating a new and vibrant urban environment.
