Zrno Kindergarten opened in 2024, with the City of Zagreb investing €4.2 million to create a modern and functional space for play and learning. The 1,700 m² facility accommodates six educational groups and features a range of amenities tailored to children of different ages. A distinctive feature of this kindergarten is the indoor atrium with a stress-absorbing floor, designed for outdoor-style play while ensuring maximum child safety. Each floor also includes a dining area, which is uncommon in kindergarten facilities. The kindergarten is further equipped with multisensory rooms and spaces for exploring light and shadow, fostering children’s curiosity and development through play. Carefully selected toys and equipment enhance safety, variety, and a stimulating environment that promotes play, learning, and social interaction.
